Do you have any advice for young/new referees? : Make every effort to attend local training as this is where you will pick up the best advice from experienced colleagues who have been exactly where you are in their careers.

Have you had any funny/strange things happen at/during a game? :  At a recent Ayrshire derby there was an incident with a can of beer being thrown onto the field (apparently directed at me). Needless to say I don’t think the fan was celebrating my performance and offering me a congratulatory drink. Funnily enough, his team were behind at the time…….

Food -Indian, Chinese, etc: Mexican and home made stir fry’s.

Drink - Coke, water, beer, etc: All of the above !!!

Music - Pop, Indy, Dance, etc: Probably a bit of everything. U2, Oasis, Jay Z and Bodega

Movies - Action, Comedy, Horror, etc: Not into horror films so I would say comedy films.

  • Stranraer finished the regular 36 game season as the highest scorers in the three IRN-BRU Divisions of the SFL and they showed their eye for goal when they completed the job of getting to the Final of the Second Division Play-Off in fine style against Queen’s Park.
