President Barry Cook said, “Renfrewshire Referee Association wanted to do something in memory of Robert, who served the association extremely well over many years. He regularly took charge of amateur and Schools matches and has been sadly missed by everyone involved with Renfrewshire Referee Association.”
All the referees, who were dressed as Santa, completed the race; which took place on Sunday 9th December.
Sponsorship & Charities Officer John Reid added, “It was good to see Tom and Robert give up there time to support such a good cause and hopefully one all the sponsorship is counted we’ll have raised a good amount of money. I would also like to extend my thanks to everyone who has sponsored any of our Santa’s”
