Annual General Meeting

The Annual General meeting of Renfrewshire Referees Association will take place on Monday 5th March at approximately 8:30pm (once the Monthly Members Meeting has concluded. The meeting will be held at the Holiday in express next to Glasgow airport.

The Annual Fees for season 2012/13 were set at the February Members Meeting, these were set at £45 (including the £10 SFA registration fee). Members in full time education are only eligible to pay the £10 SFA registration fee. 

These fees have remained the same for the last several years  

These fees must be paid by Monday 27th February 2012. Any member who hasn't pay these fees will be liable fee of £30 to paid on top of the membership fee- this will be strictly observed!!

  • Airdrie United striker Derek Holmes is well versed in promotion campaigns as he has been through five successful ones and he is hoping to a add a sixth with the Diamonds by overcoming a one goal deficit to Dumbarton on Sunday.

  • Dumbarton’s bustling busy midfielder Kevin Nicoll has covered miles and miles on the pitches of the Second Division this season, however he has been travelling even further just to take part in the Sons promotion push via the Play-Offs.

  • Albion Rovers are looking to defy gravity for the first time in nearly 80 years by staying up in the Second Division by seeing off Stranraer at Cliftonhill on Sunday despite being two goals down.  The Coatbridge side are also hoping that their ‘Mr Consistent’, Alan Reid, will get over the sickness bug that saw him miss out in midweek and allow him to take his place in the second meeting.

  • Stranraer finished the regular 36 game season as the highest scorers in the three IRN-BRU Divisions of the SFL and they showed their eye for goal when they completed the job of getting to the Final of the Second Division Play-Off in fine style against Queen’s Park.
